We, KnowledgeLake, Inc., are committed to protecting the privacy and security of the personal information we collect and to being transparent about how we use information about you, which is often referred to as personal information or personal data. This Privacy Notice sets forth our policies and practices for collecting and using personal information in regard to the KnowledgeLake Cloud Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) application (“Services”). This notice does not address our use of personal information outside the context of the Services. This notice also explains how we use and disclose personal information. It also discusses how you can control certain uses and disclosures of personal information. We will update this notice from time to time, or as our privacy practices change, to ensure it accurately describes how we use your information. When we do so, we will update the dates above. We recommend that you review this notice from time to time for the latest information. If we change our practices in a material way, we will provide appropriate notice to you, usually through an e-mail message or through a banner or pop-up within our Services.

2. Categories of personal information
We collect personal information from you when you choose to share it with us. This may include when you use our Services, register for an online account, make a purchase, request information from us, sign up for newsletters or our email list, use our service, participate in a survey or promotion, or otherwise contact us.
3. Personal information disclosure and sharing
In addition to the sharing with the third parties described in the table above, we may also share your information with:
- Service providers. We share your personal information with third parties that provide services to us. We engage these kinds of third parties with contracts that prohibit them from using your personal information for any purpose other than to deliver the services for which we have engaged the third-party. These kinds of third parties may provide business, professional, or technical support functions for us, such as payment processing, billing, quality assurance, and delivering you marketing materials on our behalf.
- Legal compliance recipients. We disclose personal information to the courts, the government, law enforcement agencies, litigants, and similar recipients for legal compliance purposes.
- Successors. We may disclose personal information associated with a part of our business to a buyer, potential buyer, or other successor to our business.
We also may disclose personal information with third parties with your consent or at your direction.
4. Personal information security and retention
We have reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information in our possession. While we make every effort to help ensure the integrity and security of our network and systems, you should understand that no data storage system or transmission of data over the Internet or any other public network can be guaranteed to be completely secure, accurate, complete, or current. Please note that information collected by third parties may not have the same security protections as information you submit to us, and we are not responsible for protecting the security of such information.
Personal information will be retained only for long as there is a legitimate business or legal need to retain the information.
5. International orders and users
For customers who reside outside of the United States, including in Canada, your personal information will be processed in the United States, where our servers are located. When you use our Services, your information is protected by this privacy notice and you consent to the transfer of personal information to the United States.
6. Children’s privacy
We are very concerned about the safety of children using the Internet. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from those under the age of 13. We also do not sell any personal information, including the information of children.
If we discover that we have collected personal information from a visitor under the age of 13, we will promptly delete such information.
7. Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you may have certain rights as a consumer regarding your personal information conferred under Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.100, et seq., known as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

C. Your Rights
If you are a California resident, California law permits you to request that we disclose certain information about our collection and use of your personal information including:
• the “right to know,” meaning the right to request any or all of the following:
• the specific pieces of personal information we collected about you;
• the categories of personal information we collected;
• the categories of sources used to collect the personal information;
• the business or commercial purposes for collecting your personal information; and
• the categories of third parties with whom we have shared your personal information in the preceding twelve (12) months
· the right to request deletion of your personal information that we collected
· the right to have someone you authorize make a request on your behalf
· the right to opt-out of sale (as defined in the CCPA) of personal information
· the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
Exercising Your Rights to Know or Deletion
To exercise your rights to know or to deletion described above, please submit a request by contacting us through any of the means outlined below.
Only you, or someone legally authorized to act on your behalf, may make a request to know or delete related to your personal information. We will verify that any requests from persons other than you have your legal authorization. You may also make a request to know or delete on behalf of your child.
Your request must:
- Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative; and
- Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.
You do not need to create an account with us to submit a request to know or delete, but we consider requests made through your password protected account sufficiently verified when the request relates to personal information associated with that specific account.
Shine the Light
California’s “Shine the Light” law, Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.83, entitles California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. However, we do not make any such disclosures. Any inquiries regarding personal information sharing with third parties may be directed to us at the contact information set forth above.
8. Your Privacy Rights
You may have certain rights regarding your personal information under the law. To exercise your rights, please submit a request by contacting us through any of the means outlined below.
