Digital Fingerprint APIs |
We have expanded our ever-growing API to include several options for Digital Fingerprints. You can now create, read, update, and deleted Digital Fingerprints. You can also add or change tags, modify content types & fields, or change the name. Customers can now create digital fingerprints in a non-production environment and then move them to production. Our partners can also leverage this new API (plus existing taxonomy and behavior API) to create prebuilt custom solutions for common use cases.
Configurable Document and Batch Names |
Who doesn’t love Batch Name 20210524-135038110 and Document 5? Turns out a lot of people. With this update, our clients are now in full control over batch and document names. How about a batch name that is [ScanUser] – {Current DateTime]? How about a document named [Vendor] – [InvoiceNum]? No problem. The possibilities are endless with any combination of static and dynamic values.

Azure Government Cloud Support |
We are excited to add support for the Azure Gov Cloud. This includes connecting to Azure AD, Storage Accts, Cosmos, and SQL Azure databases. We are also now allowing deployment of the KnowledgeLake tenants into the Azure Gov Cloud. That means customers that want to operate in Azure Gov will not have their data leave those data centers providing additional reassurance from a security perspective.
Other Notable Features
- Support for Microsoft Modern Auth – MS is (at some point) ending support for the “legacy” auth mechanism for SharePoint Online. This is the traditional way (username and password) that we have connected in the past. We have added the new Modern Auth capability to the SPO Destination. We are not removing (yet) the legacy auth as customers are still using it.
- Reset User Passwords – Admins can now select a user in the Local Users and Groups catalog and provide a new password.
- Larger In Process Scripting Window – New bigger window to see all of the scripts at once.
- Global List of Block File Types – Admins can now provide a list of file extensions that will not be allowed, via any app, to be uploaded to the KnowledgeLake cloud.
