Document Export

We are excited to announce that you can now export document files (along with their corresponding metadata) right from your search results. Files can be exported to a network file share via the Data Gateway or you can keep your exported files in the Cloud by exporting directly to Azure Blob Storage. Files can be exported from SharePoint, SharePoint Online and the KnowledgeLake Azure Content Repository.

Variable Indexing Assignment

Does your document workflow require different users to index or validate batches based on business logic? Traditionally it can be cumbersome managing the complex configuration necessary to ensure the right people have access to only the batches they need. We have taken steps to simplify this by allowing you to define flexible rules for assigning batches for indexing that should drastically cut down on complexity and reduce the configuration surface area that needs to be managed.

Tasks UX Enhancements

Based on the feedback we have received in the Preview Program for KnowledgeLake Tasks we have made several improvements to make Tasks even better. An updated form builder ensures that answers are validated properly before a Task can be completed. Also, our refreshed UI when working a Task makes doing work easier. If you are not using Tasks to power your workflows, you are missing out!

Automatic Azure AD Syncing

We have also added the option to automatically sync changes from your Azure Active Directory to KnowledgeLake. Simply set up the sync job, define your own schedule and stop worrying about syncing those catalog changes manually.

Other Notable Features

• Advanced RegEx in the Fingerprint Builder – When configuring a regular expression in the Fingerprint builder you can now apply different flags to control the behavior of the expression. This will allow for more advanced configuration for Fingerprint rules.
• Delete Batches from Index – Users can now have permission to delete batches from the Index app. This should cut down on the amount of people who need access to the Monitor app.
• Delete Documents in the Monitor – We added the ability to delete documents from a batch in the Monitor app.
• Delete Documents in the Viewer – Users can now delete SharePoint, SharePoint Online and KnowledgeLake Azure Content Repository documents right from within the viewer.
