Local tables or lists are configured within Knowledgelake and can be used the same way SQL source tables/lists are used. Once configured, they can be used to populate or log information from or into a list or table.

Creating a Local Table
- From the Knowledgelake homepage, navigate to the Connections App and select Sources
- At the top of the page, click the Add a Source button
- In the Source Type drop-down list, select Local Table
- Name your Source, then click Next Page
- Once the edit source page loads, click Open Table
- The table editor offers several different editing options:
- Edit as Table - Allows you to create and edit the information in table form
- Edit as CSV - Allows you to create and edit the information in CSV form
- Preview - Allows you to preview what the table will look like
- Add row - Adds a row below the last row
- Add column - Adds a column to the right of the last column
- Enable/Disable deletion - allows the option to toggle the delete rows/columns function on or off
- Once you have added the necessary information for your table, click Save
- Click Next Page
- When you receive the "Your new source was successfully created." message window, click Save to finish creating your table
You should now see your new Local Table source listed in the Sources list. If you need to edit the table after it has been created, click the edit button to the right of the source name.
Creating a Local List
- From the Knowledgelake home page, open the Connections App and select Sources
- At the top of the page click the Add a Source button
- Using the Source Type drop-down list, select Local List
- Name your source and then click Next Page
- Name your list

Add your list items, one item per line
- Select Alphabetize if you would like your list items to appear in alphabetical order
- If you have another list to add, click Add another list at the bottom of the window then repeat the above steps to create the additional list(s)
- Otherwise, select I am finished, then click Save to save your list(s)
You should now see you new Local List source listed in the Sources list. If you need to edit the list after it has been created, click the name of the list to open the editor window.
