Problem
My newly added users don't have any options available in their Index panels in Scan, Index, and Upload.
Solution
In KnowledgeLake, the security design for content types defaults to new users having zero permissions and requiring them to be explicitly granted. To do this:
- Open Connections
- Click Permissions on the left-hand side of the page
- Choose the user or group you'd like to edit
- Select the destination from the Select Destination drop-down
- Select Granted next to any content type you'd like them to be able to Index
- Refresh the browser that the user is indexing on
Your user should now be able to see content types you've made available to them
